


Therapeutic Yoga - Group Class
Through Yoga and science, we will explore the physiology of breathing and learn to breathe properly and fully. The student will learn Pranayama (ancient yogic breathing practices) to expand and strengthen the lungs, calm the nervous system and bring balance to the mind and body. The lungs will be aided in increasing volume and strength, and drained of fluids through restorative postures, supported with props. This calming practice is ideal for everyone, whether recovering from illness or simply seeking tools for deep relaxation and stress reduction.
Ideal for addressing Long-COVID symptoms, Nervous System dysregulation and boosting the Immune System.
Props needed: Cushions, blankets or towels, yoga bricks, yoga strap or long belt/scarf, chair without armrests. We will improvise if you do not have these handy.
Class Duration: 45 mins.
