Through Yoga and science, this 45 minute online session will explore the physiology of breathing and guide one to learn proper breathing and postures to aid the pulmonary system. The student will learn Pranayama (ancient yogic breathing practices) to expand and strengthen the lungs, calm the nervous system and address ‘brain-fog’ or neuro-COVID symptoms. The lungs will be aided in increasing volume and strength, and drained of fluids through restorative postures, supported with props. This calming practice is ideal for everyone, whether recovering from illness or simply seeking tools for health-maintenance and stress reduction.

Props needed: Cushions, blankets or towels, yoga bricks, yoga strap or long belt/scarf.
